Today we took a short boat ride up the river to the Grand Palace. This was the home to the king and his court as well as the entire administrative seats of government up until the turn of the twentieth century. Again it was amazing to see the detail in the architecture.

Only a short ride away in a tuk tuk from the Grand Palace is Wat Pho (the reclining Buddah). Wat Pho is the oldest Wat in Bangkok and it also houses the largest reclining Buddah. The Buddah is 46 meters long and 15 meters high.
