On the first day of this new year we had a nice, relaxing day. We went out for breakfast and then we dropped your dad off so he could get a few hours of skiing in. You and I, along with the dogs, went for a nice walk and then played around the house. You love to pull out all of the newspaper from the bin next to the fireplace, or else pull out every VHS video from under the TV. You’d made a mess while your dad was skiing so I texted him a picture that said ‘Don’t worry dad, I have things under control.’
