We’ve anxiously been waiting for your cord stump to fall off. Usually this happens in the first few weeks, and for almost all babies it happens before four weeks. For you four weeks came and went, and we even went to the doctor to make sure everything was alright. They wanted us to come in again next week if it still hadn’t fallen off. But finally, tonight, your dad was changing you and looked and it had fallen off! He called into the other room to tell me and I jumped up and ran in there. I was so happy it had fallen off as the doctors seemed to be starting to get concerned about why it hadn’t fallen off, and that was making your dad and I concerned. Now you have a cute little in-y belly button!
